Storytelling Activity

We spent part of this seminar working on an individual activity that was assigned to us. It focused on creating our own digital storytelling utilising images from the internet or generated by AI.

Generating images using AI is something that we have utilised before when creating presentations about ourselves. One way to do this is through Canva. On this platform, you simply describe what you want to see and Canva brings it to life.

This tool is useful for many reasons:

- it is highly accessible to all learners

- it can provide you with images that are specific to what you are looking for

- it is quick and easy to use

- it is a tool for expressing creativity

On this day, we realised that AI images could be highly beneficial when planning not only our learning situations, but for other tools, like this blog. They provide a visual that is complimentary to speach or a text and therefore, enhance the understanding of the viewer/learner.
