Objectives

Thursday, 7th November:

We thought about objectives that make sense and as perfectly as possible suit our project. We came up with the following objectives:

By the end of this unit, students will:

  1. Be able to use basic Spanish to chat and handle real-life situations.
They’ll learn practical phrases and conversational skills they can use outside the classroom. Whether it’s ordering fruit at a market or talking to a Spanish-speaking friend, they’ll feel confident handling simple everyday language situations in the forein language.

  2. Know how to use fruit-related vocabulary to share opinions, ask questions, answer, and talk about quantities.
It’s not just about learning words like “apple” or “banana” – they’ll use this vocabulary to actually say something meaningful. For example, they’ll learn how to express what fruits they like or don’t like, ask someone their opinion, and explain how much or how many they want.

  3. Working together with classmates to create a podcast in Spanish.
Working in groups, they’ll plan and record a short podcast conversation in Spanish. This helps them practice speaking, listening, and collaborating using the new vocabulary and phrases they’ve learned. Plus, it’s a creative way to bring everything together.

  4. Use tech tools to make learning more attractive, practice language skills, and show off what they’ve worked on.
From apps like Quizlet to recording tools for their podcasts, they’ll use technology to practice, improve, and present their Spanish skills. It’s all about making learning interactive and giving them a chance to work on their progress in a modern way.
